EASTAV GLOBAL, S.L.U.
GWO is a non-profit organization that was formed for the safety and productivity of work on wind turbines. It began its journey in 2012 and in a few years has managed to position itself as a reference certificate in the sector.
The certificate is divided into several modules:
- Fire prevention.
- First aid.
- Manual movement of loads.
- Work at height.
- Survival at sea.
Normally, the survival at sea module is reserved for off-shore work, for those wind farms that are at sea.
The GWO modules are designed according to the labour needs that may exist in windmills or wind farms today. With all this, knowledge is key to successfully tackle problems that may arise in the workplace.
Fire is a very real risk. However, thanks to this training, technicians will know the dangers of fire and its spread. They will learn about the risks associated with their workplace and the application of contingency and evacuation plans.
The first aid course will prepare them to make a first evaluation of an accident and they will learn to apply first aid and to use a defibrillator.
The manual movement of loads module aims to mitigate the harmful and long-lasting effects generated by bad practices when lifting loads that may be harmful to us.
The work at height course will prepare you to use an emergency evacuator if necessary. In addition, they will be aware of the risks present at height.
All GWO modules are valid for 24 months. For this reason, technicians must re-validate their certificate before it expires.
